When advertising, marketing, and promoting your positions it is most important to be aware of what not to say. It is advisable to review your internal hiring procedures, government policies and other protocols to ensure that you are not in violation of any civil codes or employment regulations.

Limit what you say. Most job descriptions are formulated through detailed analysis and can be 2-3 pages long. This lengthy job description, especially when posted online or in a newspaper is rarely read and immediately overlooked. Keep your message to the point and highlight the key components of your position.
