This is advice that most organizations do not want to hear. If you take a quick look, it is pretty evident that the second offer is more substantial and one that is more attractive to a Physical Therapist.
If you take into consideration the amount of money that you are losing by not having this candidate and the amount of revenue that you will be generating when you hire this candidate, it would be in your best interest to make the best offer possible. Although the second offer will cost more in the beginning, it will yield a better return in the future.
Most qualified Healthcare Professionals will interview with at least 3-5 other healthcare organizations before making a decision. Additionally, you do not know what the others are offering and if you can give more from the get go, you will most likely be able to bring in and hire more candidates.
